Advocacy and persuasion are key skills when dealing with a dispute. Persons in dispute have established combative and competitive mindsets that prevent them from finding or achieving agreement. Advocacy and persuasion skills can change those mindsets and shift the conflict situation into one where agreement and even collaboration is possible.
This training will address the key factors in persuasion in a conflict situation and incorporate elements of legal advocacy and persuasion and the skills and techniques employed by effective negotiators and mediators.
