The success of every investigation rests on the evidence collected. While facts speak for themselves, proving those facts can be a challenge. Facts are proved by evidence. Gathering evidence requires a strong analytical approach supported by a firm foundation of principles that back up the case to be made at the end of the investigation.
Evidence can be physical, documentary, or via oral testimony. Among the issues to consider are the reliability of evidence, admissibility in the State Courts of Singapore, and preservation of evidence.
