AI is already part of public service work. As access expands through approved tools, the challenge is no longer whether public officers should use AI, but how well they apply it to contract-related decisions.
AI can draft clauses, summarise agreements and compare vendor terms quickly. General AI guardrails establish important boundaries, but they cannot determine whether an output protects the agency, overlooks an obligation or can withstand management and audit scrutiny.
This two-day AI contract management course in Singapore develops the contract knowledge and judgment to bridge that gap. Participants learn to interrogate AI outputs, uncover risks and decide what should be accepted, amended, rejected or escalated.
Most programmes focus on contract law, procurement processes or AI tools. This workshop brings all three together within the realities of public-sector contracting.
Public-Sector Context: Examine AI-assisted work against procurement requirements, approval boundaries, confidentiality, governance and audit expectations.
Contracting-Lifecycle Application: Apply AI from drafting and contract review to negotiation, vendor management, variations, breach and escalation.
Judgment, not Just Prompting: Learn whether an AI output should be accepted, amended, rejected or referred for specialist advice.
Practical Decision Scenarios: Work through realistic situations involving incomplete outputs, overlooked obligations and hidden contractual risks.

This workshop is designed for public officers involved in preparing, reviewing, recommending, approving or managing contracts. It is especially relevant to officers who already use, or expect to use, AI to support contract-related work.
Participants need not be lawyers, procurement specialists or AI experts. Practical experience working with contracts, vendors or procurement matters will be helpful.
The following officers will find this course highly beneficial:
This course blends short lectures, demonstrations, critical thinking exercises, and guided practice to build practical skills.
Participants work with practical public-sector contracting scenarios through four stages:
1. Examine: Clarify the contract task, intended outcome and decision context.
2. Interrogate: Test the AI output for missing obligations, inaccurate assumptions and overlooked risks.
3. Decide: Accept, amend or reject the output, or refer it for specialist review.
4. Document and escalate: Record the reasoning and identify when management, legal or procurement involvement is required.
The focus is not on mastering one AI platform. It is on developing judgment that remains relevant across approved and emerging tools.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
